THE BROKEN MAN???

THE BROKEN MAN???

A FOOT, A HAND, AN ARM, A LEG,
AN EYE, THEIR MIND.
THEIR SKIN IS BURNT.
THEIR PRIDE IS HURT.
MOST TIMES THEY'RE LOST,
BECAUSE THEY'RE FOUND;
THE WOUNDED SONS,
HOME FROM FOREIGN LANDS.
WE TRY SO TO UNDERSTAND,
THE HELL THEY LIVE
UPON THIS EARTH.
THEY DIDN'T COME HOME
IN A FLAG DRAPPED COFFIN.
MOST PARTS ARE HERE;
TRYING TO FIT IN.
AN HONOR IS GIVEN AT A SPECIAL EVENT,
BUT HAVE YOU REACHED OUT
AND TALKED TO A VET?
CAN WE TRUELY UNDERSTAND?
WHAT MAKES UP THE BROKEN MAN?
